North-East Line

Hello!!! Da xiong lai le.. haha... just wanna share my experience with all of you, so u won't have to feel like an idiot like me haha...

Today morning, i went out to take my badminton racquet which i had sent for restring a few days ago. As i wasn't exactly in the mood to do any hw whatsoever (as usual lah), i just wanted to chill out. So my friend suggested going to take a look at Punggol since we have not been there before. So i was sporting and agreed to join him on our expedition along the north-east line (MRT).

We took the MRT on the north east line to get to Punggol. On the MRT itself, we chose to sit at the head of the train. Since there was a window at the front of the train, we could see the dark dark tunnel in front of us. Quite nice, haha.. like going on some ghost ride in a fun fair when you look at it from that perspective, haha... So we spend all the time entertaining ourselves with the tunnel ahead.

Upon arrival at Punggol MRT station, we were simply amazed. Outside the MRT station, we saw a neatly grown patch of grassland surrounding about 80% the station. hmmm... its like seeing a high tech facility in the middle of a desert or jungle. Hmmm... perhaps Ming Yang should shift there, i bet he would like it =D..

Next, we looked around for a place called Punggol plaza. However, it was nowhere in sights. So we went to the passenger service counter to ask for directions. We found out what we needed and took a bus (think is no. 3) to Punggol plaza. And yes, i spotted a school-Punggol sec sch- along the way there, a saw it yesterday when i was at the library and kept thinking what sch was it.. haha.. anyway, the Punggol area is really ulu.. haha.. Loads of empty HDB blocks, most of which are still under construction.

Finally, we reached our destination, Punggol Plaza. Hmmm... disappointing i would say. haha... In the plaza itself, almost none of the shops are common.. all so ulu one.. just like the area there haha... there are only three shops in the mini shopping mall which i seem to have come across before. First one was NTUC, second was Cheers and the last one is Koufu. haha... Since there is nothing there for use to do our window shopping, we decided to make the best out of our trip. So we went into Koufu and had a great time eating haha.. hmmm... ate quite a lot.. hmmm... one bowl of Tom Yum ban mian, some tim sum and lastly had carrot cake.. haha.. so filling... haha..

After eating, we decided to move on to somewhere else, somewhere which we had more things to look at. So we took the LRT back to the Punggol MRT station. Hmm... making things convient, we went to Plaza Singapura since we could get there via the North-east line. haha.. At plaza sing, we juz walked about and looked at erm.. interesting things.. And guess what.. there was a LEGO shop there haha... bet Ming Xiong would love it. haha.. the LEGO sets still cost a bomb, the prices have not fluctuate much since i was erm.. 3 yrs old haha.. ya..

After which, we took a scroll through Carrefour and than decided its time we should head for home. And yes, it was the time to head for home as everyone too is heading back home. That made the MRT very packed. Its been a long time since i last cram myself into a compartment. Hmmm... the worse thing is people all around me are women.. So terrible.. I had a hard time trying not to bump into them and yet, they bumped me... hmmm... nvm... Finally, I survived the train ride and arrived in one piece at Jurong East MRT station. Thereafter, i just took a bus home, and the rest of the day was smooth haha...

Yep, that's all for now haha...
